Omigoodness, though I only got to go to one day of it, MTAC was amazing. I'm glad that I went there for my first anime con, but I think I'll have to cosplay next time. Oh yes.
Anyway, I got to meet *
messa and her friend ~
Ionhelen along with a bunch of other really great artists. I also spent about $46 on copic markers
(I loves them so much!) and another $30 or more on meh siblings.
AND! I attended a panel/seminar thingy by *
honoofairy about how to use copic markers. She was so helpful; and knowledgeable too!!! And her friend was hilarious. I almost bought some of her artwork and then I realized that I only had a dollar left. Poo.
And my father, who was anime-ed out in about an hour (poor dear) went and fell asleep in the sun by the pool, resulting in a nice sunburn.
The cosplayers ranged from excellent to awful. There was a girl with a wonderful Chi outfit. She was so cute!
That was all on Friday.
Today, on the way home, my father took me to Ft. Campbell where I got to see the ATM that made my mom cry (it was the first one that she had ever used in the states, before she spoke and read English as easily as she does now). The PX there is about the size of a small mall and the base itself is about twice the size of the county I live in. HOLY CRAP.
And that's all...
Oh yeah, I went to the eye doctor on Thursday afternoon. As it turns out, I have chronic dry eye, and growths under my eyelids that are an allergic reaction to protien buildup on my contacts. Apparently, these growths have scratched my retinas to badly that it's actually made my eyesight worse. So now I'm on two different eyedrops and I'm not allowed to wear contacts for the next 2-3 weeks.
Oh! and *
Marius-Creb has a fantastic new haircut. Go see her pictures of it. She's so cute!!!
